ANGF Conference

Conference 2011

Cultural Education and Artistic Perpetuation are two themes that ANGF takes to heart. Each year the board contracts maestros from Mexico and the U.S.A who are masters of their art form, to teach at the ANGF Conference in an intimate setting. The Conference Registrant chooses their preferred classes (3 out of 5 options). The Registrant will attend the selected classes daily. Each class lasts 90 minutes. The 4th period (75 minutes) is reserved for Lecture and announcements. Each maestro will prepare a demonstration and presentation specific to the region of instruction. Each maestro also participates in a question and answer session.

This week long annual Conference educates and introduces participants to the art of Folklórico and facilities educational adventures and networking opportunities. ANGF provides music CDs for educational instruction and Instructional DVD which capture the relevant conference material that demonstrates ANGF educational value.
